- Fusion-io has released an ioMemory SDK that includes APIs that application developers can use to access Fusion-io memory more directly while bypassing OS kernel block-io stack. Applications, like databases, can be made faster with the new solution. See video, 15.5.2012.
- The Finnish video post production specialist, Toast Post Production Oy, has taken into use Finland's first ioDrive2 Fusion-io product. The new ioDrive2 is used to speed up video rendering while using Nuke on Mac Pro with OSX Lion 10.7 OS. Having the ioDrive2 in the system, the editing artist can enjoy full HD uncompressed rendering in real-time, 17.2.2012.
- Fusion-io ioCache is a new product that can be used to speed up VMware virtualized Microsoft servers. ioCache contains a 600GB card and ioTurbine software. ioCache, as well as, other new ioDrive2 cards are available and can be ordered from Futurea, 24.1.2012.
- Fusion-io ioTurbine software speeds up virtualized applications and enables you to run more virtual machines under VMware on a physical server.
